IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a proactive and organized Catering & Events Coordinator to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province.

About the Role

The successful candidate will coordinate catering functions and events from initial inquiry through successful execution, working closely with clients and internal departments to deliver outstanding service. The role involves managing event details, preparing event documentation, coordinating with kitchen, banquet, sales, and operations teams, and ensuring all guest requirements are met. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering events and banquet functions
• Liaise with clients to confirm event requirements and timelines
• Prepare event orders and communicate details to operational teams
• Coordinate with Sales, Banquets, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth event execution
• Monitor event setup and provide on-site support when required
• Maintain accurate event records and documentation
• Ensure exceptional guest service and timely resolution of client requests
• Support revenue opportunities through effective coordination and upselling where appropriate
