Business Umbrella is Hiring: Event Project Manager in Saudi Arabia (Remote)

The agency is now recruiting on behalf of a client for a remote-based Event Project Manager covering the MENA region.

Position Overview

This is one of the Event Project Manager jobs in Saudi Arabia’s remote-friendly talent market, posted via recruitment agency Business Umbrella. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of events — from planning and budgeting to marketing, logistics and execution — working remotely while coordinating projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage event project plans, timelines and budgets
• Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, equipment rentals, transportation and staffing
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events
• Develop and implement event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop event themes, branding and collateral
• Conduct post-event evaluations to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors and partners
• Manage event databases and CRM systems, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in event planning and project management
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience developing and managing budgets, negotiating contracts and managing vendors
• Proficiency in event management software and database management systems
• Knowledge of marketing principles to drive event attendance and engagement
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed
