Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia’s future capital of entertainment, sports, and culture, is hiring a Director – Operations & Event Delivery to lead event operations and site-wide delivery across its Cultural and Heritage program, including the Festival and year-round programming.
Position Overview
This senior role is responsible for planning and executing all event operations and delivery — from logistics and site readiness to health, safety, and guest experience — ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery in line with asset objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of event operations across the Cultural and Heritage program
Lead logistics, site readiness, and event overlay, including temporary infrastructure, structures, utilities, and services
Establish and enforce health, safety, and security frameworks, including crowd management and emergency response protocols
Ensure delivery of a high-quality, safe, and seamless visitor experience across all touchpoints
Oversee operational vendors, contractors, and service providers
Lead operational feasibility assessment of programming, commercial, and marketing initiatives
Coordinate with Asset & Site Management on facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure readiness
Define and track operational KPIs, including service levels, efficiency, and safety
Qualifications
12–15+ years of experience, with significant leadership overseeing large-scale operations and event delivery
Proven experience planning and delivering large-scale events, festivals, or destination operations with high visitor volumes
Strong background in crowd management, HSE, and security operations within large public events
Experience managing complex, multi-site or multi-zone environments and vendor/contractor networks
Ability to operate in high-pressure, real-time environments and coordinate with government and regulatory authorities
