Delta Hotels and Resorts, part of Marriott International’s global hospitality portfolio, is hiring for an Events Sales Manager job in Jeddah to lead group, conference, and events sales for its Jeddah property. The Group Conference & Events Sales Manager sits within the hotel’s sales team and is responsible for building long-term client relationships that convert into confirmed group and event business. Delta Hotels operates a growing footprint across Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, and expanding markets including Saudi Arabia, and this hire supports the brand’s push into the Kingdom’s meetings and events segment.

Position Overview: Events Sales Manager Job in Jeddah

The Group Conference & Events Sales Manager is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling group and event sales opportunities at the Jeddah property. The role focuses on building long-term, value-based relationships with clients while ensuring business is turned over accurately and on time to the Event Management team for delivery. The manager is expected to meet personal sales targets while supporting the hotel’s overall revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients through sales calls, entertainment, familiarization trips, and trade shows
• Coordinate with off-property sales channels to keep outreach consistent and non-duplicative
• Generate proposals, write contracts, and manage customer correspondence for booked business
• Track market trends and competitor activity to identify new group and event business
• Provide accurate, complete handovers to the Event Management team for seamless execution
• Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service throughout the client relationship

Qualifications

• A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, plus 3 years of sales or marketing experience; or a 4-year bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of the local hospitality and events market, including competitor positioning
• Proven relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Experience managing the sales-to-delivery handover process in a hotel or events environment
