SLS The Red Sea is Hiring: Audio Visual Technician in Umluj

SLS The Red Sea, part of Ennismore’s global lifestyle hotel portfolio and now open on the Kingdom’s Red Sea coast, has opened an Audio Visual Technician role in Umluj. The resort’s 150 keys, five Food & Beverage venues, and spa sanctuary rely on seamless AV support across events, meetings, and entertainment programming.

Position Overview

The Audio Visual Technician will set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems across the resort’s events, meetings, and entertainment venues, working closely with the Engineering, Events, Banquets, and Entertainment teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle audio-visual equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, and entertainment events
• Operate sound, lighting, projection, and video systems during live events
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of AV equipment
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, and LED screens
• Provide on-site technical support for VIP guests, executive meetings, and high-profile events
• Coordinate with Events, Banquets, Entertainment, and Engineering teams on technical requirements
• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new AV equipment
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Audio Visual operations within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end event environment
• Technical knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems
• Experience operating AV equipment for events, conferences, weddings, and entertainment programs
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in English communication, written and spoken
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events as required
