Tahaluf, the largest B2B live and on-demand events organiser in Saudi Arabia, is opening Cityscape West Exhibition Director jobs in Riyadh for a leader to run Portfolio 2, the team behind Cityscape Global and the Global Health Exhibition. Tahaluf is a joint venture between Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), and the Events Investment Fund (EIF), and is also behind LEAP, Black Hat MEA, and CPHI Middle East.

Position Overview

The Exhibition Director for Portfolio 2 carries full accountability for the commercial and operational performance of Cityscape Global and the Global Health Exhibition, from strategy and sales through to on-site delivery. The role requires flawless reporting and presentation skills, with regular engagement at the highest levels of the Saudi government and Informa, and success depends on thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment aligned to the demands of two flagship shows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, direct, and execute a strategy for the ongoing growth of Cityscape Global and the Global Health Exhibition, aligned to Tahaluf’s global objectives
• Take ultimate responsibility for digital and physical sales, visitor marketing, conference and content development, and on-site show operations
• Build key relationships with clients, industry bodies, business leaders, and suppliers as an ambassador for the events
• Maintain a dynamic partnership with the Commercial Director to keep sales teams focused and motivated
• Establish a trusted leadership partnership with the AVP and EVP on strategy, budgeting, and global growth opportunities
• Create, manage, and deliver an annual budget and quarterly forecast, ensuring revenue, expenditure, and profit targets are met
• Position and maintain both shows as the definitive events in their markets, strengthening brand identity and market share
• Develop the portfolio’s staff through regular appraisals, coaching, and career development

Qualifications

• Solid experience as an Exhibition Director, preferably in the B2B sector
• Demonstrable strategic thinking, planning, and financial forecasting experience
• Strong business acumen with a thorough understanding of the exhibitions industry and competitive landscape
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with strong networking ability
• Middle East and Saudi experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
