dmg events, an international exhibitions and publishing company that attracts more than 650,000 visitors to its portfolio of 115+ global exhibitions each year, is hiring a Conference Producer (Saudi National) in Riyadh. Part of the Daily Mail Group Trust (DMGT), dmg events builds face-to-face platforms that bring industry professionals together to network, learn, and do business.
Position Overview
The Conference Producer will drive the timely production of high-quality, industry-relevant summit and industry talks programs for the company’s hospitality portfolio of events, generating fresh ideas and topics while securing leading industry speakers.
Key Responsibilities
Produce industry-relevant summit, conference, and workshop programs
Manage CPD accreditation for the programs delivered
Oversee onsite management of summit, conference, and workshop programs, ensuring delivery according to plan
Brief and oversee temporary staff involved in onsite delivery
Research and determine the viability of proposed programs
Identify and liaise with key industry leaders, institutions, and companies
Develop research into attractive draft programs
Contact and confirm speakers, maintaining regular communication to avoid last-minute dropouts
Build relationships to curate best-in-class summits, conferences, and workshops
Collaborate with marketing to promote programs and speakers
Work with sponsorship teams, providing leads and joining sponsorship calls as needed
Network with delegates and speakers at events, and manage relationships with advisory boards and industry associations
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in content production for B2B events
Ability to quickly develop a competent understanding of diverse topics
Strong networking and information-gathering skills
Excellent multitasking abilities
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic
Related industry/event knowledge, Middle East business experience, copywriting skills, and database marketing knowledge are desirable
