Modernist Group is Hiring: Event Project Manager in Riyadh

Modernist Group, a strategic event and communications agency founded in 2008 with offices in Istanbul, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia, is looking to add an Event Project Manager to its Riyadh team. The agency — which includes Modernist Event Management, MCW (Modernist Creative Works), and Studio Modern — delivers more than 400 events and 150+ digital and traditional campaigns each year for a roster of international brands.

Position Overview

The Event Project Manager will take full ownership of event delivery from concept to completion, planning and executing events, managing budgets, coordinating with clients and vendors, and overseeing all event logistics from initial concept through post-event reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing the event concept and format
• Establishing the project budget and tracking commercial objectives
• Coordinating production, logistics, and on-site operations
• Managing timelines, critical paths, risks, and crisis scenarios
• Post-delivery measurement and reporting

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning and event management
• Proficient in budgeting and budget management
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in a similar role within an event management agency
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
