Operations Manager Jobs in Riyadh: Position Overview

The Operations Manager – BTL will plan and execute sampling campaigns, in-store promotions, retail activations, roadshows, and other field marketing activities across Saudi Arabia. The role calls for someone who can independently manage venue approvals, activity permits, staffing, logistics, production, and field reporting from initial brief through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure approvals and permits from supermarkets, hypermarkets, malls, and other activation venues, and coordinate with municipalities and relevant Saudi authorities
• Recruit, brief, schedule, and deploy field teams including promoters, supervisors, merchandisers, and brand ambassadors
• Plan and execute BTL campaigns end-to-end, covering staffing, logistics, production, storage, and deployment schedules
• Maintain a strong network of production companies, staffing suppliers, transport providers, and event vendors, and negotiate competitive quotations
• Prepare daily and final activation reports covering locations, consumer interactions, and samples distributed
• Prepare campaign budgets, control costs, and track expenses against approved budgets
• Manage simultaneous activations across multiple cities, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Khobar, Makkah, and Madinah

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in BTL operations, experiential marketing, retail activation, sampling, events, or field marketing
• Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia is essential, with strong knowledge of store approval and permit processes
• Existing relationships with major retailers, malls, venues, suppliers, and field supervisors
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken
• Strong negotiation, planning, budgeting, and problem-solving skills
• Valid Saudi driving licence preferred; transferable Iqama preferred where applicable
